Q&A with Stephanie Velez, President of TheWiseArtGallery
Tell us a bit about Sage Properties Incorporated.
Sage Properties Inc was Incorporated as a Property Management Company in the Sacramento Valley while I was a Realtor at Coldwell Banker Residential Services in Fair Oaks CA, & College Student at American River College pursuing an Associates of the Arts Degree in Real Estate. I became an ARC Alumni in 2011. At Coldwell Banker I was an REO Asset Specialist, and Corporate Realtor for the Financial Industry. Broker Price Opinion & Commercial Opinion of Value Specialist.
I have been featured on the A&E Television Network, a Sacramento News 10 Neighborhood Preferred Realtor (2011) and Guest Speaker on Sacramento News Radio KFBK. I am a Coldwell Banker International President’s Circle Member & top 2% of associates worldwide. I am a Local Soccer Mom, Professional Fine Art Photographer with Artwork & Photography dedicated to my Uncle’s Museum… The Noel J Daggett Museum for Living Artists NY.
In addition to Sage Properties I am also the CEO of The Wise Art Gallery in Sacramento, honoring my Uncle Noel who was an American Painter & Artist with Paintings featured at the White House & later at the National Gallery, Washington D.C. Sage Properties was also established by Stephanie Louise Daggett, 2007 in honor of My Grandfather Carol J Daggett, Titan III Rocket Engineer, Martin Marietta Aerospace General.
What gave you the idea for your business and how did it start?
My Grandfather was the first Real Estate Investor that I have ever known. Corporal Carol J Daggett of Martin Murrieta Aerospace General. We purchased our first piece of Commercial Acreage together in Orlando Florida.
What’s your favorite thing about your job?
There are so many things, starting with, Real Estate is a great business for Soccer Moms and it really helped me through College & the Purchase of my First Home.
What are your keys to making yourself productive?
My Kids Motivate Me. I created Sage Properties Inc for them so that they could have a Family Legacy, Real Estate, Art & Photography by Stephanie Louise Daggett
Tell us one long-term goal in your career.
I am a new Lincoln Law School Student, Studying for the LSAT.
What’s the most valuable lesson you’ve learned through the course of your career?
I think the most valuable lesson I have learned through the course of my career is to never lose sight of the bigger picture.
What advice would you give to others aspiring to succeed in your field?
Always invest in your education.
What are your favorite things to do outside of work?
Photography, Art, Soccer, Snowboarding, Ballet, Vacation with my Kids.
