Q&A with Brian “Who” Brown, CEO of WhoJamStudios

Tell us a bit about WhoJamStudios.
WhoJamStudios is a full service studio with low rates to cater to an array of artists, businesses, even down to support for local artists. (Supporting local shows, promotions on our various social sites).

What gave you the idea for your business and how did it start?
I’m a natural extrovert but I prefer to move in silence. Projects tend to move faster when there’s no audience. (Who)

What’s your favorite thing about your job?
The people I’ve met along the way that show they appreciate the hard work I put into their music. I have a lot of loyal clients.

What are your keys to making yourself productive?
Make decisions that benefit my brand.Help those that need the extra support. Be honest with everyone.

Tell us one long-term goal in your career.
To start a non-profit school featuring real life teachers in every part of this business.

What’s the most valuable lesson you’ve learned through the course of your career?
Your business practice is not the same as others’.

What advice would you give to others aspiring to succeed in your field?
Learn your craft from the inside out, know that is not always about your passion but understanding your business. S.N. – know everyone is not your friend and they will try to slow down your progress.

What are your favorite things to do outside of work?
Learn, It’s always more things that I don’t know and could know that will advance me in most parts of my business.

Rich Dad Poor Dad.
The Art of War.
But most importantly, Youtube. It’s just a click away from hard-working people that provide you with a wealth of knowledge! I actually have a Youtube account that I like, comment and subscribe to people. It’s like being in online college without paying an arm & a leg.
