What gave you the idea for your business and how did it start?
Since I was young, the love to capture moments was a constant. As an adult I followed other dreams but photography has always been the one love that stood the test of time.
What’s your favorite thing about your job?
First and foremost, the fact that I get to be creative. 2nd, would be the look and expression of the client when shown the work that was created.
What are your keys to making yourself productive?
Practice and study everyday, whether it is reading or actually taking photos anywhere I go. Key is to keep growing mentally and sharpen the craft.
Tell us one long-term goal in your career.
One long-term goal is to become a go to content creator that musical artist, actors and fashion magazines request. The ultimate goal is to be published in National Geographic and to have a solo photography exhibit.
What’s the most valuable lesson you’ve learned through the course of your career?
DO NOT WING IT! Be prepared, study and come up with fresh ideas. Stay consistent and take a chance. If you have to wing it…wing it with confidence.
What advice would you give to others aspiring to succeed in your field?
Take that step, take a chance and let your creativity shine. Can’t stress enough to study your craft, sharpen your skills and SHINE!
What are your favorite things to do outside of work?
Spend time with my children and grandchildren. Laugh, watch a great movie and just see the world with a photographer’s eye.
Name a few influential books you’ve read and/or websites you keep up with that you’d recommend to readers.
A few books I would recommend is a book that was given to me as a gift which is “The Alchemist”. Classic and makes you think about life.
