AÖIR RECORDS is the President of AÖIR RECORDS Music Group which is compromised of 6 Independent Record Labels
What gave you the idea for your business and how did it start?
I wanted a change in my life. While attending my sister wedding in Atlanta, GA, I was surrounded by an energy that inspired me to help others. I spent 10years as a DJ and recognize a need for local young recording artist.
What’s your favorite thing about your job?
I enjoy assisting recording artist achieve their dreams. To see someone excited about a dream becoming reality is inspiring.
What are your keys to making yourself productive?
Production is motivated by the success of the artist and labels. As they grow, we expand. Our goal is to be all inclusive. Provide all the services they need at affordable prices or make them recoupable.
Tell us one long-term goal in your career.
Our long term goal is to create a sub culture in the recording industry that is Independent artist friendly and profitable for any artist. We achieve this by incorporating old Technics with modern technological advancement. We want every artist to be a viable BRAND properly structured, documented and financed to conduct B2B business Independently.
What’s the most valuable lesson you’ve learned through the course of your career?
Patients, humility, compassion and communication. Most importantly the ability to be flexible in all daily decisions.
What advice would you give to others aspiring to succeed in your field?
Do your due diligence to research and educate yourself before you make the decision. Create a plan of action 4years out. Most businesses fail within those first 4 years. Create a team with different skill sets. 3 rappers can only write, where as a rapper, composer and videographer can create a demo and visuals to sell your music.
What are your favorite things to do outside of work?
I still attend at Solano Community College and study society to stay current with culturlised trends. I enjoy long drives and trips. I have also donated time to none profits who support music within the Vallejo community.

To maintain a clear perception of reality I do not patronize any specific publications. I follow all stories or persons of interest through multiple outlets. I believe staying informed is important. To do that you need the complete story.
