Q&A With Melanie Twine, CEO of Ministry Minded Media

1. Tell us a bit about Ministry Minded Media, LLC.

We are a music production, recording studio, media based ministry with films, devotionals and books coming soon.

2. What gave you the idea for your business and how did it start?

When my husband and I met, we both had the vision to be a hub of all things media in the world of ministry. He had the studio and I had the writing and business skills, so we merged the two and became one (figureitively and literally).

3. What’s your favorite thing about your job?

Building relationships with kingdom minded artists and helping others in their walk with God, in their marriages and reaching out to the youth of the world.

4. What are your keys to making yourself productive?

Transparency. we are transparent and real about every thing that we do. we decided long ago that if we lie about our struggles, we cant truly help another go through theirs.

5. Tell us one long-term goal in your career.

To be full time ministers/evangelists and for the music production to make enough to sustain us comfortably.

6. What’s the most valuable lesson you’ve learned through the course of your career?

Always use contracts. Even with friends.

7. What advice would you give to others aspiring to succeed in your field?

Pick a lane and stay in it. too many people want to do everything and therefore, they never become truly specialized in one area. we have to utilize our brothers and sisters when the opportunity arises.

8. What are your favorite things to do outside of work?

Family time doing…anything really. We play soccer, love the beach and we love to travel
