Q&A with Farah Williams, CEO of Kharizma Fashions

Tell us a bit about Kharizma Fashions LLC.

Kharizma Fashions (KF) , is a unisex brand that is SIMPLY MAGNETIC! This is a brand where you can feel like somebody. Attract, Inspire, and Influence those around you with confidence. You are able to dress it up or down. Swag with a mission and on purpose.

What gave you the idea for your business and how did it start?

The idea first came from my passion to put an outfit together for boys/Men. It made me feel awesome so I wanted to create what started out as a men’s fashion brand to becoming a unisex fashion brand. 

What’s your favorite thing about your job?

Putting pieces of clothing together or designs that make a statement.

What are your keys to making yourself productive?

Discipline, Passion, and Determination.

Tell us one long-term goal in your career.

Hopefully turning Kharizma Fashions into a worldwide brand creating more products from shades to shoes, etc.

What’s the most valuable lesson you’ve learned through the course of your career?

Never tell people your dreams who don’t believe in you because they will try to discourage you out of it.

What advice would you give to others aspiring to succeed in your field?

First make sure this is your passion because you will put your all into it. Second, research to know the ends and outs so that you make sure this is something you want to pursue. Third, Write a business plan so you have a vision written on paper reminding you how far you want to take it. Last but not least, create a life of discipline and determination to get it done.

What are your favorite things to do outside of work?

Reading, writing poetry, audio recording or songwriting, video recording or editing, movies, gun range and sitting at the park
