Q&A With Jeremy Dugan, CEO of Tru Hustla Clothing

Tell us a bit about Tru Hustla Clothing.

Tru Hustla Clothing is a fully independent clothing company I started in 2016 by myself. I created the company to giver customers a brand that represents their everyday hustle regardless of what that may be we respect all Hustles and ways of life.

What gave you the idea for your business and how did it start?

I was sitting in the recording studio with a few friends helping to finish a few tracks they had recorded and asked them what they thought about the idea and name for the line they immediately said it was a good shot at building a new top-shelf line to represent our everyday hustlers.

What’s your favorite thing about your job?

The design work by far I work with a few friends bouncing different ideas and styles off of them.

What are your keys to making yourself productive?

My Family and girlfriend and remembering as I build this to always remember where I came from.

Tell us one long-term goal in your career.

To build a reputable clothing company to pass down to my kids so they don’t have to go thru the struggles I did.

What’s the most valuable lesson you’ve learned through the course of your career?

Never count on anyone but yourself.

What advice would you give to others aspiring to succeed in your field?

Keep dreaming the only way a dream cannot become reality is if you allow the dream to die in your heart.

What are your favorite things to do outside of work?

I like to spend time with my Girlfriend & kids spend time helping with my friends Kennel Inkskin.Bullyz they have been a huge support to the clothing line.

Never really read many books but I will say when it comes to this line of business always remember to focus on the trends of the time and always.
