Q&A With Gora Choudhury, CEO of C3 Financial
Tell us a bit about C3 Financial.
Financial Services is my consulting company and provides financing access to small businesses.
What gave you the idea for your business and how did it start?
I have been a banker and accountant in Sierra Leone, Canada, New Zealand and the USA. It started when I got laid off in 2006 when I saw banking go through the crash in 2008. Small businesses were having terrible time getting loans due to bad credit.
What’s your favorite thing about your job?
I do not consider it a job but an avocation a calling to help small businesses get working capital which is their oxygen. But since 2008 it has been difficult for them to get access.
What are your keys to making yourself productive?
I have multiple sourced lenders who specialize in different types of loan products for people who may or may not have collateral or good credit.

To help small businesses to get to grow and expand.
What’s the most valuable lesson you’ve learned through the course of your career?
To never judge a person based on their credit collateral or current financial status.
What advice would you give to others aspiring to succeed in your field?
Be patient and resourceful.

Grow my business.
