Never stop. Success takes a while to obtain. What comes easy won’t last and what lasts, won’t come easy.

Tell us a bit about Skyy Ent.

Skyy Ent is an entertainment company that offers health, beauty, marketing, and entertainment services. Whether you need a beautiful hairstylist for a runway show, a nail tech for that last minute mani or pedi, a Dj/MC to liven up your event, or an onset fashion stylist to make sure everyone looks their best…Skyy Ent has you covered. Our motto: “What do we do?…Whatever it takes!”

What gave you the idea for your business and how did it start?

Being in the market and realizing some key components in the way I wanted business to be handled were lacking. I decided if I couldn’t change the rules, I’d create my own. I started by reaching out to other key players in my field. Others that already had a reputable track record and those that I saw really had a passion for what they were doing, so I brought them together to help close the gap in what I had going.

What’s your favorite thing about your job?

My favorite thing about my job is being able to help others and also being able to learn from others.

What are your keys to making yourself productive?

Setting small incremental goals between my larger goals. Gives me something to aim for while I’m aiming for something greater.

Tell us one long-term goal in your career.

One long term goal of mine is to be able to model my company from my vision. I believe Skyy Ent will be the Walmart of Entertainment.

What’s the most valuable lesson you’ve learned through the course of your career?

Be kind, but not too nice.

What advice would you give to others aspiring to succeed in your field?

Never stop. Success takes a while to obtain. What comes easy won’t last and what lasts, won’t come easy.

What are your favorite things to do outside of work?

Study. I’m always filling my mind with something. Whether through books or audio. Once you begin to learn you can’t stop. It’s quite addictive.

Name a few influential books you’ve read and/or websites you keep up with that you’d recommend to readers.

“The 21 infaluable laws of leadership” John C Maxwell
“A taste of power” Elaine Brown
“The third Circle Theory” Pejman Ghadimi

I also listen to speakers via audio or YouTube. Such as: Gary Vee, Jim Rohn, Alan Watts, Bob Proctor, Grant Cardone, Les Brown, and MANY others
