Q&A with Theresa Gilford, CEO of Speak Out Loud Productions

1. Tell us a bit about SpeakOutLoud production aka The S.O.L.

Well, the S.O.L. acronym for Speak Out Loud Productions, is a talk show platform given to us in the entertainment world, dealing with local and indie films to the big screen, The S.O.L. allows one to come on sit down be interviewed with myself Host TCG on their journey of there past, present and future projects we bring you all of your favorite actors/actresses and what’s going on in their lives. We will be speaking on the ins and outs the ups and downs in what we do, finding out what happens behind the scenes of our popular shows, entertainment and projects. What our guests are working on and what’s brewing in there pots. Yes we have the first inside edition, the tea for you…Coming to you from the SOL talk show.

2. What gave you the idea for your business and how did it start?

What gave me the idea for the SOL was we have so many gifted and talented Actors/Actresses, Producers, Writers, Directors who do not have the platform to tell how they got started or what they have and are trying to accomplish. I believe in passing the torch generation to generation and with the SOL I feel we pass the torch by telling our journey’s our ups and downs, our drives what motivates us and along the way giving great advice and tips from true life experiences never hurt anyone. If I can light the fire in just one individual to push forth and activate their dreams or encourage the one who has stepped out on faith to pursue something bigger than the average mindset, than I have done my due diligence.

3. What’s your favorite thing about your job?

My favorite thing about my job is that it isn’t just a job it is a ministry that helps others and myself to Speak Out Loud about our goals, accomplishments ups and downs and to find encouragement from others.

4. What are your keys to making yourself productive?

The main key to making myself productive is the fact of recognizing that everyday I am awaken is another day to create a canvas to my journey.

5. Tell us one long-term goal in your career.

A long term goal in my career would be to set up The S.O.L. talk showcase on a television network and collaborate with so many great and talented people to create one of the best networking experiences for us all. 

6. What’s the most valuable lesson you’ve learned through the course of your career?

One of the valuable lessons I learned through out the course of my career would have to be to never doubt what I can accomplish everything has a season always remember that even seasons sometimes cross into one another so, keep pushing, keep moving.

7. What advice would you give to others aspiring to succeed in your field?

The advice I would give to other aspiring entrepreneurs is to remember there is a process to everything even with that process their will always be variables, yet remain focused and determine to see yourself is to know your ability. So remember we all have the ability to change everything into a positive outcome.

8. What are your favorite things to do outside of work?

One of my favorite things to do outside of work is to create more work I know it sounds cliche but rome was not built in a day and my mind and creativity levels have surpassed a 24hr day.

9. Name a few influential books you’ve read and/or websites you keep up with that you’d recommend to readers.

One of my favorite books to read will always be the bible I do not look at it as just my basic instructions but I admire and embrace the journeys of those mentioned in it. BY doing that it gives me great insight in my season to seasons yet, for my career and keeping a balance with what my beliefs are I would recommend you to read, Produced By Faith by DeVon Franklin this book stands for giving insight in enjoying real success without losing your true self.
